To celebrate the last year of the C5, Chevrolet is offering a Commemorative Edition package on all models, including the Z06. In addition to special Le Mans Blue exterior paint and a Shale interior, Commemorative Edition 'Vettes will have special badging and polished aluminum wheels. The Z06 version will have a carbon-fiber hood, Le Mans stripes and "Z06 only" wheels. Other changes for 2004 include revised shock valving on the Z06.

  I have owned a corvette for the past 14 years. Mostly all convertibles. Chev. has out done theirselves with the C5. This one is my 3rd (C5) and they just keep getting better. One noticable upgrade was the eletromagnetic steering option. I cannot wait for the new C6 to hit the market. I will be the first in line!

  The corvette Z06 has handling better than a 911 turbo faster acceleration and brakes on the dime. The design is great and the car has one of the best reliablities for a sports car. The engine note from the 5.7 is throaty and exhaust system creates a nice rumble. The transmission is smooth. The only thing about the car that could use some improvement is the interior as its too plastic looking sorta generic GM vehicle. The two tone colour in the zo6 of black and red really helps to give the vette a good look.

  Overall, this is a fun car to own and drive. My only complaint has been getting some of the electronics repaired correctly by the dealership. The traction control engages itself and the cruise control will not stay activated. I would recommend the 04 vette to anyone considering an older car purchase.

  What a wonderful car! Even though the C5 is out since 1997, this car still gets looks from almost everyone on the road. Value & performance for the dollar is second to none. Fit & finish were perfect. I added a ram air system and a performance exhaust system. If you think this car was fast before...this car really goes now.

  Driving a Corvette is like being free,, and thers nothing better then bieng free,, its fast,, handles like its stuck to the ground,, beutiful car,, im 17 and i love my corvette, because im free, intll i get to the gas station, and i have to empty out my pockets so i can be free, but i guess thers a price for having fun.. peace

  Purchased the LeMans CE Z16; this vehicle is everything I thought it would/could be. Awsome handling and blistering speed. Body fit and finish is excellent. Road noise is on the high side but what can you expect from the 35 series tires and it is a sports car, not a tourer although I wouldnt mind taking it on long trips. Very comfortable seats; driving position is excellent. This car can go directly from the show room to the track.

  I love the ability to get on the expressway with no problem, as I travel it daily. It has a lot more room in the passenger area and the trunk space surprised me. I thought I would have a problem exiting and entering as I have back problems but it is very easy to enter and exit. Very much a fun car to drive and own.....LOVE IT!!
