Nice Truck - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Former Z Owner - July 18 - 2:00 amThis truck is marketed toward people who wont do a lot of towing and value ride/comfort, which is me. The crew cab has lots of interior room, even for 6 footers in the back seat. The 5 cylinder engine has plenty of power, better than the V6 it replaces in the S-10. Plus its better on gas.

So Far So Good - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By gmloyal - May 26 - 10:00 amTraded my 2001 s 10 in on this truck. No problems with the pricing, just a 5 hour ordeal on the trade in value. The truck is much improved over the s 10 but still aint a silveraldo, but its more afforadable. I notice a lot of heads turning as im driving it. it is a real looker. The seat material is a downgrade from the s10 but adaquate.

only time will tell - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By ta4sman - May 26 - 10:00 amI have driven about 2000 miles since my purchase. Great looks, handles well. Mileage is about 20 MPG, 80%hwy/20%city combined. Added the GM foldable tonneau cover, along w/ the chrome tubes, bug deflector. Front seats could be more comfortable and plush for 28k price tag, use the Silverado Z71 seats. Cup holder should be moved forward, with the console it is not easy to access. Rear visibily is limited due to the high back rear seats. The bed is adequate despite being about 6 inches short.

A Great Mid-Size Pick-Up - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Andrew A. - January 22 - 2:00 amI bought the Colarado after cross shopping the Colarado, Dakota, Frontier, and Tacoma. I loved the exterior design of the Colarado. It had the looks, power and the all important fuel economy. the truck has been totally reliable which is surprising for a new first year model.

wrong foot - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By chippox - July 31 - 10:00 amThe only problem I have encountered is the location of the door locks. They tend to be easily activated while exiting the vehicle on both the passenger and drivers side. There is an alarm when they are activated but Im sure I will be locked sooner or later.

Great little truck - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By Rarch - June 23 - 2:00 amI have found the truck to be just what I wanted. It has a smooth comfortable ride with excellent gas milage. It offers the comfort and gas milage of an automobile yet leaves me the option of using it as a truck. I dont have the need for a large truck but wanted something that would allow me the option of hauling a larger load than an auto and yet have something better than an SUV for gas milage. I also wanted a vehicle that rode smooth and handled well. This vehicle fit the bill. Its just a fun vehicle to drive.

Cheap - 2004 Chevrolet Colorado
By d_jarrell - June 12 - 10:00 am2,400 miles so far and going back to shop for second time. Dealer cant seem to fix alignment. Interior is very cheap. Rear headrests block rearview. XM radio is a joke, dont pay extra for it!
