The 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt remains unchanged from last year, except for a few swaps of standard and optional feature content.

• Respectable fuel economy, smooth ride, quiet cabin, excellent performance in SS trim.

• Cramped backseat, mediocre fit and finish, missing common safety features, lack of interior storage, dull handling (except for the SS), poor braking on XFE models.

  Bought my Cobalt 3 months ago and love it so far. Im averaging an incredible 32.5 mpg on my 92 mile/day commute. Not the most comfortable inside but Im 63 and 220 lbs so any car would be uncomfortable. Better mpg and horsepower than Corolla/Civic etc so if you take it for what it is theres no better car in its class. Highly recommended for a commuter

  I have had this car for only a few weeks, but I have to say as a get up and go to work car, it does great. I especially love passing the gas station by.

  Engine Start up Noise - 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

  We have an 09 XFE with the 2.2 Ecotec. The engine rattles loudly at start up for about three seconds then quiets down nicely. This car only has about 2400 miles on it. Anyone else having this type of problem? Im a little shy of this engine because of the noise.

  This car has been a very good car so far. It has 19000 miles on it and it is a 2008. Some of the editors review i totally agree with. The interior is a little on the cheap side but the seats are incredibly comfortable in the front even on long trips. I have the xfe and the gas mileage is superb. The braking mentioned by the editor has not been an issue but i dont drive on a race trac. The tires have done extremely well in the snow this winter. Over all really good car. Extremely comfortable and smooth on highway trips

  5 Speed manual transmission. Few flaws, some normal wear and tare.
