Overview & Reviews
A luxury crossover SUV, the Cadillac SRX utilizes components and construction more often associated with cars rather than the rugged truck-based underpinnings GM uses for its more traditional SUVs. The result is a more comfortable ride and better handling, along with plenty of versatility unless you need to tackle heavy-duty chores such as towing or off-road travel. Typically priced below European rivals, the SRX makes for a genuinely appealing alternative thanks to its distinctive styling, pleasant driving character and feature-rich cabin.
If you're shopping for a used Cadillac SRX, you'll find early models with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and options like a third-row seat and a V8. Later versions of this Cadillac crossover are a bit smaller, with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, two rows of seating and V6 power. Although the newer version sacrifices some space, power and performance, it offers a significantly nicer interior with upgraded materials and technology.

An Example of why GM is failing - 2006 Cadillac SRX
By fdoamerica - April 14 - 8:05 amProblems ... shut the door the side mirror dislocates. The drivers door has a 1/2 inch gap between side panels ... where is the quality control? The performance is anemic and the handling heavy with an understear. This is Cadillac, the flagship name of GM?

High Maintenance - 2010 Cadillac SRX
By Mark - July 31 - 4:40 am2010 was the first year for this vehicle, never buy a first year vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not know this was the first year vehicle when we purchased it. We have replaced multiple catalytic converters at around $800, transmission went out at right at 100,000 miles, spent around $10,000 in a 2-3 year timeframe.

Lake Cadillac - 2016 Cadillac SRX
By Ed Klump - April 23 - 12:34 pmOn hold yet again with GM service center (7th time in two days). There is an issue with the SRX Sunroof drain tubes shrinking and popping off (very poor design). They are supposed to fix this problem up until Jan 2017. GM is fully aware of this and there is a customer satisfaction action that is for only a few States. I live in Michigan so I am not covered. The car has flooded badly and mildew has collected. If anyone has an SRX PLEASE stay out of the rain! TERRIBLE customer service, worse engineering, and costly to own.
