Overview & Reviews
With just one year of production under its belt, Buick is already making some substantial content changes to its Rendezvous model line. Instead of offering standard all-wheel drive on its upscale CXL model, both the lower-level CX and the CXL will now come with front-wheel drive, with Versatrack all-wheel drive available on both models. Other formerly standard items that are now optional this year include: four-wheel disc brakes, ABS, side airbags, all-speed traction control and luggage rack crossbows. On the upside, both models get dual-zone climate control. The CXL also benefits from an optional DVD-based entertainment system and optional XM Satellite Radio for extra enjoyment.
- Usable third-row seats that fold flat, comfortable ride, lots of options available.
- Paltry engine, swell-looking but cheap-feeling interior materials, options add up, no off-road ability, not as storage-space-friendly as a minivan.

Buick - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By klos - November 9 - 4:00 pmVehicle is versatile - big enough for people and sports gear and can still fit into any parking space. Fun w/ surprisingly positive fuel economy. I have been nothing but pleased with this vehicle and with my selling dealer. Although I bought and have 0% for 5 years, I will probably purchase another Rendezvous before they stop making them!

Adventure - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By potentially happy - October 20 - 10:00 amWent on a cross-country family trip and encountered problems; The service engine light stayed on after it was serviced and the fuel gauge and low fuel indicator light stayed on when the tank was full. The lighter and auxillary outlet fuse burned out. OnStar wasnt working either until we took the car to a Buick dealer to find these two outlets are on the same fuse as OnStar! Water collected on the floorboard in heavy amounts after rainfall. We came home from our trip to our dealer to find we had a leak around the air conditioning unit They said it was a bad seal around the unit. We had water damage and corrosion to the electrical system.

Buick Rendezvous - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By sbmem - September 29 - 10:00 amBought our RDV a couple months ago. It has been just fantastic. Great around town and we have taken one trip with it. The amount of interior room and comfort is just awesome for the family. The power is just fine especially for family driving. Storage and amenities cant be beat for the price. Extremely Happy

great suv - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By W. Conrad Richards - June 18 - 2:00 amI have had my Rendezvous for 3 weeks now and think it is great. Im so happy that we made this choice. My wife is tall and likes lots of leg room and this SUV has plenty. The salesman said that we could take a test drive for a couple hours (imagine that) to see if it was the right car. Well we drove for an hour but had made up our minds in the first 20 minutes. What a quiet comfortable ride. We couldnt be happier.

I Like It - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By kristinka - March 20 - 2:00 amI bought the vehicle after many months of soul searching for the right one...wanted plenty of room for the kids,my husband and myself. The lack of power may be an issue for some, but Im a mom driving my kids and friends not a racecar driver. I find it to have plenty of room, comfort, and style with the leather interior and sun/moonroof I didnt go wrong!

Buick Rendezvous - 2003 Buick Rendezvous
By DiMats - February 28 - 2:00 amThis is the first time I have been complimented many times on the beautiful exterior of a car I own from young to old alike. It is a comfortable car to drive and handles very well in snow and rain alike.
