Overview & Reviews
A power moonroof and Myrtle wood trim are now standard on all models. Brushed aluminum column trim is available as a no-cost option. Front lumbar support has been added to the Premium Package for all 325 models; a power top is now standard on the 325Ci convertible; and new star-spoke wheels are standard on the 325Ci coupe and convertible. The 330Ci convertible gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror, lumbar support and a universal garage door opener as standard. This year, the sequential manual gearbox (SMG) is available only on 3.0-liter models, and only in combination with the Sport Package. Buyers can now order both the Performance and Premium Packages together. Lastly, a flat tire warning and white indicator lights are now standard on all models.
- Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials exude luxury, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
- Still costs more than most of its competitors, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity, confusing array of options and packages.

New 2005 - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By Deebers - February 23 - 8:26 pmWe wanted a car that felt sporty and had luxury at the same time. BMW delivers with tight steering and yet a smooth ride. Interior room is major selling point for my 511 frame! I have tons of head room and leg room (in back too!!) very impressive! Love the warranty on the vehicle as well! I also love the step-tronic transmission, switching from auto to manual and sport - is FUN!

A REAL car that suits me perfectly - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By Carlman - January 11 - 3:22 pmIve owned several cars over the past 10 years. All were new compacts. I wanted something that could take passengers to lunch for business but was fun to drive, reasonable gas mileage, and was quiet and comfortable for long trips. I got it all in spades with the 325i I bought. I bought a base model which had more features than I wanted. Finding a manual tranny on a 325i is tough. I replaced the wood trim with aluminum and it looks fantastic. I love the sound of the engine, the handling, the intuitive nature of the controls, and everything about this car. I couldnt be happier with my decision.

2005 325i BMW - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By gregory - January 6 - 2:19 amThe 325i BMW 2005 model. Is smaller and more sufficient here in Germany. I have had no trouble at all and it still runs like it did when I drove it off the lot.

The truly Ultimately Driving Machine - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By luckyguyinla - December 13 - 4:49 pmI have this car no more than 2 months old. I took a spin everywhere i go .. Everything about this car is awesome beside. the miles. BMW allow you to drive at your own speed. The gas mile meter is not correctly because it depend how fast you are accert your car. I m going to keep this car until the 2008 car model come out. its fun car and attention grabber. Great car for age 18-40.. Save up your money. and wait for the 2008 new design. I loving it right now.

Thrilling ride !!!!!!!!!!! - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By Denny - December 9 - 10:45 pmThis is the first BMW I have owned but it will not be the last. From the moment I drove off it was like I was in another world. One of the first things I noticed, besides the fast acceleration, was the lack of outside noise. This is a great first BMW to get into--its pricey but worth every penny.

Hot Car But With A Lil Annoyance - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By SLIMQT614@AOL.COM - December 5 - 3:12 amThough this has been my dream car since I was a child, i must say its been a little disappointing, why, I had a gas leak after 8 months of owning this car with all door windows vibrating not making the cabin as quiet as I thought (now fixed). . But with the adjustments, I now have a ding noise in the gas tank when I hit bumps and start the engine after a 2 day storage! Not a good thing. As for smooth ride, I think it has its moments!! But the all wheel drive is exquisite, horsepower is just right and amenities are awesome, I have it all installed from the auto/tranny, the nav to the prem package to the pdc and xenon lights/heated seats. Love the car but will upgrade once my lease is up!

BMW 330i - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By Ryan - October 13 - 4:36 amGreat sport performance car to drive, which makes long trips enjoyable. The seat extension for under the legs is awesome and very comfortable. The tight road handling is ideal for upper end highway driving (speeding!). Net - net awesome car that makes you want to run errands.

Super Little Coupe! - 2005 BMW 3-Series
By Niels Leppert - October 10 - 2:35 amPositives: Smooth and steady power, silky gearbox, and better than advertised fuel efficiency. Dead solid road manners, cat-like road stance...A/C holds up to the Florida summer heat, wipers and xenons take care of the Florida rain...my wife is sold on her little coupe...and no trips to the dealer for silly stuff. Thumbs Up! Negatives: You gotta reach waay back to grab the seat belt.
