  • Great to drive as long as it runs. - 1995 Audi 90

My wife and I got the 90S as our first nice car and its been in the shop every two months. Every time that it goes in for repairs it is at least $600. In the 15 months that we have owned it the repair costs add up to the same amount we have paid off on the loan. We are selling this car to get a more reliable, less expensive to repair car or truck. This is the second and last over engineered German car that I will ever buy. I love how it drives but money talks.

I love the car and I love driving it around. The only negative things are the repairs, which are expected when a car like mine is close to 100k miles, are quite expensive. Nothing has ever broken on the car, but everything paid for the car were preventive repairs. Although this car is on its 9th year of faithful operation, I love Audi styling enough to buy from Audi again.

  • NOT MY FIRST WONT BE MY LAST - 1993 Audi 90

I started off with an Audi 5000 which was 14 years old before it was rear ended and totaled. After thinking I needed a Lincoln and Mercedes I gave in a few years later and purchased an Audi 90S. I was now back home. As with my other Audi I have experienced a good ride along with wonderful engineering. I am able to maintain and work on my Audi therefore avoiding the costly Dealership. The ride is excellent, acceleration is promt and handling is in your control.

  • Fun to drive - 1993 Audi 90

Bought car in Oct 96 with 50k. Inherited it with what I found out to be the common head (92 & 93 6 cyl) and front end problems. Cost $1400 in 97 to repair. 4th catalytic converter on left side and 2nd on right which I have found out is also a common problem. Audi would/will not do anything about it. Gave up on cruise.

This car is excellent, im glad that i ended up with this car instead of the one i originally intended to buy. It has great acceleration and is very reliable. I love the look of the car, and its built very well. It has pretty good room inside, and is very comfortable.

I bought this car my junior year in High School for $2800. I recently finished my soph year in college and its still going, with 199,500 miles right now. Very comfortable car, even with cloth seats, although the sunroof can cramp headroom a bit for 6-footers (and when autocrossing my helmet rubs the ceiling). Ride is nice and smooth, and very stable at higher speeds. Handling is decent, but its still a family sedan :) Trunk space is decent, as is rear seat room. Has been rock- solid reliability-wise for me (especially considering the mileage), even with rather often home-to-college- and-back drives.

  • Bargain Bin A4 - 1995 Audi 90

I traded DOWN from a 96 A4 a few years ago when a second baby made me unconfortable with the high payments. I saved a lot of money and got essentially the same car. Not quite as sexy on the outside but a solid, well- performing german sports sedan. Clean, crips lines like a well-tailored gray flannel suit. Fast, if not quick. Unimpeachable 5-speed transmission, smooth clutch. Very reliable except for some minor electrical issues. Comfortable, if a little cramped for most Americans. Tenacious grip in all conditions.

  • A nice car at a reasonable price - 1995 Audi 90

I have been very pleased with this car. The interior is well equipped with walnut trim, sport seats that lack a wide range of adjustment but are nevetheless very comfortable. Also includes a wide range of gauges and more rear legroom than the A4. The exterior is not as sleek as the A4, but it is more unique. The front fog lights are prone to stone cracks. At 172hp, the 90 holds its own against a BMW, however the car is sluggish in stop and go traffic. Highway ride is quiet and stable. Quattro is the best reason to buy an Audi. Keep in mind that parts are expensive, even aftermarket, and working on the car yourself requires patience (and small hands).
