Overview & Reviews
For 2003, all TL models equipped with the navigation system receive OnStar as standard equipment.
- Excellent value, comfortable front seats, impressive power from the Type-S engine, long list of standard equipment.
- Average interior materials, lacks the panache of some competing luxury sedans.

Love this Car - 2003 Acura TL
By LovemyTLS - May 9 - 10:00 amI just bought the TL Type S and absolutely love the car. Previously drove a Maxima SE and this car blows it away for only pennies more. The Navi system is a definite must.

Excellent Car. - 2003 Acura TL
By Jason - April 21 - 3:08 pmI purchased this car new almost 3 years ago - thus far, it has been flawless. Nothing has gone wrong with this car. It is quick, it is comfortable, it handles well, and its held up well both inside and out. I have had to avoid 3 accidents with emergency braking and manuvering - each time the car has reacted perfectly along with the anti-lock brakes - the cars performance has kept me out of accidents on both wet and dry roads. My only expenses to date have been the regularly scheduled checkups recommended by Acura (every 7,500 miles - which include oil changes). The dealers service department has been very good as well.

A Little Slice of Heaven!! - 2003 Acura TL
By alinki - April 14 - 10:00 amTake the car for a test drive. Try all of the others first. BMW,MB, Cadillac, etc. This car for the money ,is a secret that that will not last long. This fine automobile should put Honda on top of the near luxury market.

Best Car In Class - 2003 Acura TL
By Dex - April 6 - 3:03 pmI traded in a 99 TL and everything that was missing from it is on my 02. The Type S package increased the level of performance and luxury that was lacking, I highly recommend it. The interior is basically the same, roomy, comfortable, and ergonomically pleasant. The resale is fantastic. For just a few dollars more per month and nothing down, I walked away driving a new and improved version of a car I already loved. Overall, the car is well worth the money Acura is asking.

Second Acura - 2003 Acura TL
By Megan - March 28 - 9:46 amThis is my second Acura. I greduated from a 1999 3.0 CL from Acura of Boston. I bought the 03 Acura TL in Silver, Type S with Nav from SunnySide Acura in NH w/47K. I cant say enough about Acuras! The sales process both times is simple & I never felt like they were trying to be shady. The great thing about Acuras are they come fully loaded. This car rides like a dream. The interior is plush (the leather is luxorious and soft. The Navigation and Onstar are great toys to have and I have to say accurate even with our big dig. I drive like a maniac and this car holds the road and never fails to make me feel safe. My last Acura I never spent $ on repairs I expect the same from my new TL!

Like it - 2003 Acura TL
By billo - March 7 - 10:00 amLooks cool. Little short on headroom for tall driver. Has zip when passing or entering freeway. Get a lot for $. No haggling over options they;re all there! Did not get the GPS, an expensive road map. Audio system a big surprise for a Honda product. I like that feeling of RELIABILITY.

WOW.....Great - 2003 Acura TL
By Blake & Hollister - March 2 - 10:00 amThis is my first Acura, but certainly not my last. Wonderful automobile. Comfortable, fun to drive and very responsive. The 3.2 engine is powerful and yet quiet. Certainly did not need the larger "S" engine. So far gas milage has been very good. Need another car in June and would love to get another Acura.....might try the RL this time. One test drive and youll agree.

Below the Radar - 2003 Acura TL
By platinum - February 7 - 10:00 amThe TLS is just plain fun to drive and is the best deal for a car of its quality. I also like it because its not too flashy yet the performance (Boy does it MOVE!) is there when you want/need it. This is my second TL- the first was a 96 which I put nearly 100K miles on with NO trouble. Get the S type if you like performance over comfort as the regular TL does ride and steer more like a Caddy and less like BMW. One last thing: you wont pass 15 of them on your commute- pretty unique car.
