Overview & Reviews
This year the MDX receives standard XM Satellite Radio, a Bluetooth hands-free cell phone interface on Touring models, a larger fuel tank and an enhanced stability control system. The optional rear entertainment system now includes an in-dash six-disc CD changer, and the navigation system has an enhanced database. MDXs with navigation also include the OnStar communications system.
- Room for seven passengers or serious amounts of cargo, gutsy V6 engine, well-balanced suspension, top-rated crash test scores.
- Limited off-road capability, below-average tow rating, ho-hum interior design and materials.

Love my MDX - 2005 Acura MDX
By meileen - December 18 - 4:20 pmI enjoy the handling, the style and the comfort. It has been my favorite car purchase. Used to drive a Ford Expedition and this by far handles better. The service I get w/ Acura has been outstanding. Only one change, wish it had a little more storage hiding space near the driver .

Great SUV - 2005 Acura MDX
By Nancy - November 15 - 9:04 pmI test drove the Volvo and Toyota Sequoia, and my husband has the Lexus 330. The MDX is superior to all of three. Great handling, relatively high off the ground, comfortable interior, easy to use navigation and dvd systems.

Comfort in driving - 2005 Acura MDX
By Christine Spampinato - November 7 - 10:46 amI love driving my MDX. It is a smooth and comfortable SUV. It has power to get you where you want to go. The visiblity is also great.I am able to see a lot more of the country side than with my sedan. I also like the seat warmer during this winter season. Over all it is a great SUV for the price.

Not disappointed - 2005 Acura MDX
By Tay - October 21 - 5:16 pmFor 1 whole year, I researched and test drove SUVS from Lexus, Infiniti, Jeep, BMW, Volkswagon, and a few others as well as the MDX. I loved the MDX from the moment I drove it, and now that I own one, I love it even more. The MDX is fun to drive, loaded with many luxuries and comforts, has great power (Awesome pickup), great sound system, and in my opinion the best Navigation system of any car I drove. Add to that, this is dollar for dollar one of the best deals out there, and its also one of the most dependable Mid-SUVs out there, this is one really amazing vehicle.

Best car I ever drove - 2005 Acura MDX
By Natalia - October 14 - 2:06 pmI love it! It could use better gas mileage. Very good on handling wet roads, turns. Very smooth and quiet ride. I did not think I would use Navigation system, but I was wrong. It is very helpful, plus I am still learning about the vehicle.

All-around best performer - 2005 Acura MDX
By dhk - October 4 - 4:29 amAfter doing a thorough research, we settled on MDX and have not been disappointed. This car does not do any one thing better than the competitors Lexus has a slightly comfier interior VW may have better off-road capability. But the entire package is better than the competition. Room for seven Acura workmanship lots and lots of power and fair pricing. We love than Acura wont nickel and dime you for features such as leather seating and moonroof. Everything comes standard. The only negative - and it comes with the territory - is the gas mileage, though it is better than most SUVs.
