The 916 was wrecked when I purchased but I felt safe seeing the previous owner had installed Marchesini magnesium rims, carbon airbox, Ohlins shock, carbon chin and steel braided lines. The purchase of these options is in the 4k range shows the previous owner was willing to spend and take care of her. She had roughly 11k miles when I took possession and was immediately taken to AMS in Dallas to install new 2000 996sps body work from a bike that was taken new and race prepped.

She has a clear Texas title held at my bank. The bike runs very well and has 100rwhp with the stock chip. I was able to get 103 with the Ferracci chip but the over-rev was not desired. I have had the bike knee down at 120 and she tracks fine. The bike has been used for street riding and track days. I was planning to install a 955 kit this winter but the SPS has changed that. I have not been in the valve-train but it sounds fine and the oil shows no signs of problems. I was planning to do the valves with the 955 kit install.

The Marchesini rims are staying with me and the bike goes with the three spoke Brembo rims/rotors shown in the photos.

The bike has a repair on the right nose cowl rear dzus fastener mostly hidden by the side fairing. The headlamp bracket has a small chip on the left side that is not readily visible but does not interfere with function. The pipe has some scratches and dings. Small crack in carbon chin piece that has been repaired with carbon weave. The subframe is a biposto. The solo tail is from a 996R. The radiator is bent from the original wreck but has functioned fine for the last year. The waterpump cover has scratches as well. The waterpump and radiator are of course hidden from view.
